Service

Company Accounts & Corporation Tax

Every limited company has to file accounts at Companies House and a corporation tax return with HMRC. Doing it late is expensive; doing it without thought is more expensive still. We prepare both, and we use the process to look at how profit is being extracted and where relief is available.

Statutory obligations met, with the tax bill managed rather than discovered.

Fixed fee

from £650 per year

What's included

Everything in the fixed fee.

No hourly clock and no invoice at the end of a phone call. This is what you get for the price we agree.

01

Statutory year-end accounts

Prepared to FRS 102 Section 1A or FRS 105, formatted for filing and readable by your bank or lender.

02

CT600 corporation tax return

Computed, reconciled to the accounts, and filed with HMRC alongside the tagged accounts.

03

Companies House filing

Abridged accounts filed to the public register, plus your confirmation statement if you want us to handle it.

04

Profit extraction review

The salary and dividend split reviewed each year against current thresholds, rather than left on last year's setting.

05

Relief and allowance claims

Capital allowances, the annual investment allowance and R&D claims identified where the activity genuinely qualifies.

06

A director's meeting

A proper conversation about what the numbers show — margin, drawings, reserves and what to do next.

How it works

Four steps, and you know where you are at each one.

1

Records to trial balance

We take your bookkeeping to a clean trial balance and query anything that does not reconcile.

2

Accounts drafted

Statutory accounts and the tax computation prepared together, so the two always agree.

3

Director review

We sit down with the figures, explain the tax position and agree the profit extraction for the year ahead.

4

Filed at both ends

Companies House and HMRC, with confirmations back to you and the deadlines diarised.

Questions

Company Accounts — asked and answered.

Still not sure whether this is what you need? Tell us the situation and we will say so honestly — including if the answer is that you do not need us yet.

Ask a question

Accounts are due at Companies House nine months after your year end. Corporation tax is payable nine months and one day after the year end, and the CT600 is due twelve months after it — so the tax is payable before the return is due.
